Finishing My Daughter’s Room

Despite the fact that I have some amazing professional photos (top by Nicole Cohen and below by Leslie Unruh for One Kings Lane) of my younger daughter’s room, it’s still far from finished. For the past few weeks I’ve been frantically searching for the right pieces to pull this room together. She’s away in camp for a few more days, and I’m hoping to surprise her with a room that looks a lot more complete (and functional-she needs a dresser badly) than when she left.
I’m close to ordering her a white dresser. I’m considering the one below and also this taller, narrower option from West Elm. I’ve got a good sense of what she likes and dislikes (I’m honoring her request to have only plain white blinds on her windows) and with that in mind I’ve pulled together this little mood board to motivate myself (and in the event it doesn’t get done in time…to show my daughter when she gets home).
