Goodbye New York

The whole concept of our big move is slowly sinking in.

Our former home in Westchester County, New York

Posting images of our home here is somehow helping me cope, in a very cathartic way.

Even though we’re only moving about ten miles, it is a new state!

Goodbye New York, hello Connecticut!

I’ve lived in New York for my entire life, and the thought of a new zip code, area code, driver’s license and license plate is so weird.

Never mind the hassle of how to refile my small business?!

Lots to do over these next few months – any and all moving tips and tactics appreciated!

  3. Sue,
This is so exciting! The ease of life that you will gain from being closer to things will help make the transition less trying. Fondly recall having lunch in your dining room and am so happy that I "know" the house your leaving. Hope I'll get an invitation to the new zip code!
Loved seeing you yesterday….of course, not enough time. Hope to see you soon!

    Sue,
Lovely to see you yesterday. Wishing you all the best with your exciting move which will mean less time in the car as Taxi Mom. I love NY, but CT is so close yet feels so different. You may want to connect with Jess Lively who is amazing and so knowledgeable about running a life and business with intention. You should be on her "pod cast" – surely you have so much to share and inspire in each of us.
