Five Beauty Must Haves

I love to talk about beauty must haves!

Yours, mine – all of them.

Last year, I ran a series about blogger’s style secrets.

I got some really great tips from this, the type of shared information that I used to get from living with my girlfriends in college and shortly there after.

Many of the comments also contained really useful information about beloved products and “go to” sources.

In the hopes of gleaning some much needed new stylish insights and re-stocking my cosmetic bag, I’m sharing my “desert island five beauty must haves” here today.

Now spill some of yours!

PS: Are false eyelashes right for your?

These are the all star  makeup products from my own beauty routine.

In other words, I’m opening up my makeup bag, with the hopes you’ll share your favorite beauty products too!

I’m currently on the hunt for a new red lipstick and a nude eyeshadow palette – so if you’ve got a preference please let me know in the comments below.

started washing my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser, followed up with a cotton pad dab of witch hazel and a pea dollop of cetaphil moisturizer and my skin never looked better. the entire regimen is inexpensive and effective.

  8. I've always wanted to try some La Mer – even the name feels luxurious. I'm a huge fan of Erase Paste for undereye circles. Can't remember brand name but you can find it at Sephora.

  10. My post today dealt with skin care regiment partly because I too hope to hear people's comments on what works for them. Love La Mer products, but never tried that lip balm. I see that a lot of people are raving about Clea de Peau, including you. I really should try it.

I've started using Fructis extra hold spray everyday—just a thin misting seems to hold my hair in place for most of the day. 🙂

The Elnet smell doesn't work for me either, but Annick Goutal eau d'Hadrian is my all time favorite perfume! And Aveda lip balm stays on for hours! My husband always steals it from me, too! Not exactly a beauty product, but Dr Scholl's padded satin shoe liners are mandatory in all of my heels!

  20. Jo Malone's Orange Blossom smells like Hawaii to me — I love it.

I'm going to try the Suave out! On shampoos, I'm not picky, as long as it works.

  21. I am not a fan of hair spray, most smell bad and feel so sticky,so I use a smoother. My favorite is the protective luminating system (in the purple tube)by Matrix . And, I just may die if Origins ever discontinues it's rain or shine lipstick line!
