Home Tour: Fifth Avenue Chic

Cece Barfield chic Manhattan apartment

A while back, I featured the home of Manhattan based interior designer, CeCe Barfield. Ever since then, I’ve been following Cece’s career and loving all the spaces this talented lady creates. Case in point, this beautiful Fifth Avenue apartment.

So many favorite design elements work perfectly together in this home. Shiny lacquered ceilings, Stark antelope carpet (we have the same one, which you can learn more about here) eye catching art work, Gracie hand painted wallpaper… the list goes on and on.

Each room is more inviting than the next. I especially love the perfect mix of antiques and more modern pieces here. This type of eclectic mix is by far my favorite interior design style.

Be sure to scroll through to the bottom to see a few suggestions as to how to get a similar sophisticated and glamorous¬† look in you’re own home.

PS: Another fabulous New York City apartment tour.

Beautiful! May I ask what is the fabric used for the window treatments in room with antelope rug please?

I saw a photo of Wallace Simpson in a book standing in front of a bombay chest with oversized ornate gold handles once. Ever since I have wanted one! I love everything about that last photo, especially the chest!
