I went back and forth with writing a “year end round up of favorites” versus today’s December round up…since I’ve only been doing these favorite finds since June, I decided to just keep it simple with a December list.
So here are the five favorite things I bought in December, starting with this wintry candle in a pretty glass cloche. It was admittedly an impulse purchase made during the big holiday sales, but that doesn’t mean I love it any less. The smell is a traditional fir scent (a favorite) and it looks so pretty wherever I place it. It started out in the kitchen (above) and now I have it in my home office on my desk.
I ordered this cute cashmere poncho right before our trip to Florida, because I’m always cold in restaurants, stores, theatres, etc. Even though I already own a black cashmere poncho, I liked the idea of this one specifically because of the open pointelle knit. It’s lighter and more appropriate for warmer climates and seasons. I already know I’ll be wearing it all the time this summer.
I had a small all white marble soap dish in the kitchen by the sink. It broke a few months ago and I wasn’t able to reorder the same one, despite trying to several times! During all the holiday sales, I spied this cute brass and marble one and quickly added it to my order. It fits the spot almost the same and even has a pretty added brass design
I’d been meaning to get one of these tote bag organizers for a while. Don’t know why I waited so long. It’s such a great feeling to reach into my everyday bag now and know where all my things are! I love it so much I got a second smaller one for a different bag.
This scarf is so warm and it’s so soft! I think I might’ve accidentally left mine in Florida (at least I’m hoping it’s there and not on the plane) and I’m so bummed because I want to wear it every time I go out!
