Holiday Party Outfit Ideas

Thanksgiving is next week! This means all the holiday craziness is about to go into overdrive. Before the chaos officially kicks in, I’m taking a little time today to consider my holiday party outfit options.

So what are some great holiday party outfit ideas?

I’m so glad you asked;)

After first taking stock of what’s already in my closet, I’ve decided to go with a few festive separates this year.

An over the top silver sequin statement jacket like the one above seems like a great place to start. Pop it over almost any all black outfit and you’re good to go!

If that one’s not your style, there’s so many other great alternatives like this one, this one and this one!

Also loving this velvet blazer and this silver sequin jacket.

Speaking of sequins- a sequin skirt always looks so festive and fun.

I would keep the top simple with a silk blouse or cropped solid sweater.

This stunning sparkly top caught my eye. I love how it looks so effortlessly stylish.

Wear it with a pair of leather (or faux leather) pants and you’re all set.

This velvet plaid top is too cute. It’s a little preppier than my usual style, but pairing it with leather pants somehow balances this out, in my opinion.

It would also look amazing with black skinny jeans and slouchy boots.

I’m more into pants than dresses –so these metallic jacquard pants are right up my ally. Since they’re a bit subtle and conservative, I’d pair them with a shimmery top for a little extra oomph.  If that’s not your thing, a plain black high neck tank and a pair of statement earrings, would also look great!

Another great alternative to a dress is a chic jumpsuit. This one is just perfect. It’s clearly NOT a “separate” but it was sooo good looking I had to include it here! Hope you enjoyed this round up of outfit ideas! Have a great week.

PS: A few great hostess gift ideas all under fifty dollars!

PPS: If you’re hosting anything this holiday season, this is a very handy checklist!

AND! Finally, a few fun ideas for displaying your holiday cards this season.
