Who doesn’t love a little classic blue and white home decor?
Classic blue and white home decor.
A reader recently sent me an interesting question.
I’m paraphrasing it but, she wanted to know what types of home decor would stand the test of time.
Basically, she’s renovating her home and wants to be sure it won’t look dated in a few years.
I think so many of us can relate to this.
This charming Atlanta home, which belongs to interior designer Allison Allen, immediately came to mind.
With all it’s lovely blue and white pieces and gorgeous Quadrille fabrics throughout, it’s a great example of timeless style, which will hold up over the years.
Every design choice here speaks to me.
Maybe it’s because the overall style reminds me a bit of my own home.
I figured I’d share this home today, as it’s probably something you would love as well.
There isn’t one thing in this house I’d want to change.
From small details like the pair of blue and white lamps in the entry foyer (remember this post on blue and white lamps?), to larger concepts like the classic all white kitchen and the lovely calm and neutral master bedroom, everything about these inviting spaces is pure perfection!

And, as always, if I left anything out that you’re curious about, please let me know in the comments!

Can never go wrong with a well placed garden stool, or two…
This living room is so inviting, all the details work together so beautifully.
The mix of pattern and color combinations in the dining room are so amazing, I’m taking notes!
Love the assortment of throw pillows here, so pretty against the glossy blue walls.
The muted color scheme in the bedroom and nursery is so soothing.
I’m not sure of the bedroom wall paint color here, but it reminds me a lot of Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace.
A few more things…
