Home Tour: Sophisticated Style In Buckhead

Over the weekend I went down a long internet rabbit hole in search of buffet lamps for our dining room. Thanks to Google images (specifically the stunning dining room image below-complete with a pair of show stopping amethyst lamps) I stumbled onto this amazing Atlanta home designed by Melanie Turner. While I still haven’t figured out the lamp situation in our dining room, I’ve been happily staring at these pretty spaces ever since.

PS: More of Melanie Turner’s stunning design work.

SHOP THE LOOK:
!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘widgets.rewardstyle.com’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);

  1. The peach/raspberry combo in the first photo is so striking and unusual.
    I also like the lavender dining room. It isn't too much or too forced, like, "let's do a pop of color." It is very harmonious.

    I do remember when you shared her work. The white tile in the Knollwood kitchen is INSANE! And I'm in love with the wall paper in the lil powdy room. Fab designer find Sue!
