Timeless Style In A New York Tudor

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved a classic Tudor style home.

The storybook aspect always captured my imagination in the best way possible.

So when I saw this gorgeous home designed by Rajni Alex I fell instantly in love with it.

The contrast from the “Old World Tudor” style home’s original bones to all the contemporary finishes Rajni chose here is so perfect!

I especially love the high gloss white ceilings and the ombre drapes in the foyer.

However, every time I glance at the interior design here, I find something new to admire, it’s that kind of house.

I’ve highlighted a few more favorite pieces from this home – along with sources, which you can find by clicking on them in the widget below.

PS: This home tour from two years ago is still one of my all time favorites!

The front foyer, with it’s original wood work, shows a true nod to the timeless Tudor house style of this magnificent home.

Not to mention this front door!

Built before World War II, the Tudor revival architecture of today just doesn’t hold the same appeal.

This living room has such a sophisticated vibe.

I also love the glimpse into this house plan, with the interior glass doors leading to other beautiful rooms.

All these stunning windows in the family room is such a dream.

Natural light for days…

Tudor cottages are always so pretty from every angle.

A traditional dining room gets a full on modern make over and the look here is so glam!

Don’t you love this home exterior?

I just wish we could see more of it.

The brick chimney and steeply pitched gabled roofs are two hallmarks of this architectural style.

In the style of a true English Tudor house, this home also manages to look completely  at home in the suburbs of New York.
