Peeking Into Designer’s Homes

One of the first interior design blogs I ever read (and still love to this day) is Brooke Gianetti’s Velvet and Linen. Over the years I’ve loved watching Brooke (an interior designer) and her husband (an architect) transform their dream home, affectionately named Patina Farm into a stunning California oasis.  I’ve even pulled a bit of inspiration for my own home from Brooke’s beautiful interiors (most recently my brass kitchen faucet).

When I saw that Patina Farm was featured in this month’s Veranda magazine I happily freaked…that glass walled bathroom overlooking the gardens is my favorite, but everything about this talented design duo’s home is truly fabulous.

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s); = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);

  1. Brooke is always on the cusp of the chicest, yet serene designs ever. So much thought is given to the choices they make and it shows!
