Peeking Into Designer’s Homes

The Maine vacation home of designers John Knott (owner of Quadrille Fabrics) and John Fonda is straight out of my “favorites files” for a number of reasons. Ever since this house first appeared in House Beautiful a few years ago, I’ve been in love with the patriotic color scheme, the eclectic vintage nautical touches and of course all the amazing Quadrille fabrics and prints in almost every room of this former hotel.

  1. Interesting how the curtains in the first shot are a different blue than the more-turquoise wallpaper, but the sofa has both shades.
Overall, too busy for me. I love that outdoor shot!
