Shibori Chic

Shibori is a Japanese cloth dyeing technique which produces patterns on fabric. Blue and white Shibori fabrics have been on my radar for several years – and lately I’m thinking about adding a few Shibori pieces to my home. It’s no secret I gravitate towards blue and white – so naturally the deep indigo and white Shibori patterns are my favorite. I love how they work with almost all styles of decor. Scroll through below to see a few current favorites.

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s); = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘’ + ‘/js/lookbook.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof(window.__lookbook) === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__lookbook.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘lookbook-script’);

  1. What caught my eye is that ottoman in the last photo. Is it covered with a rug? Looks fantastic.
