Spring Shoe Shopping

I’ve pretty much stopped listening to the weather reports lately-the whole “record breaking cold temps and more snow expected” routine is getting pretty old. We’re coping with cabin fever as best as we can. There’s been a lot of movies on demand, Netflix bingeing, carb overloading, a good book or two, and of course my favorite past time these days; online spring shoe shopping-helps to play a big part in maintaining what’s left of my sanity this winter.

Here’s what I bought and what I’ve scoped out so far:

1. My first official spring purchase-these cute slip on sneakers, with the added “flatform” feature, I’ll take an extra bit of height any way I can get it, and the best part is how incredibly comfortable they are.
2. I found myself actually petting these suede sandals when I spotted them last month over at Saks. I can’t stop thinking about them, which always a good sign.
3. I bought these Jack Rogers sandals last year, now that we live in preppy Connecticut I’m sure they’ll get a lot of wear.
4. I’ve been coveting a pair of black, lace Valentino espadrilles for quite some time, yet at well under $100. these lace slip ons look so much like the much more expensive designer pair, I think I might have to go for them instead!

5. Wavy, scallop straps seem to be everywhere and on every shoe for spring, I’m loving the original from Loeffler Randall.

6. Another pair of shoes that’ve already found their way into my closet; these fab python embellished sandals. Hitting both the python and embellished trends at once, I can not wait to wear these with white jeans.

7. Tan suede, wedge mules…simply calling my name.  What wouldn’t these go with?
