Summer Fashion Must Haves

summer fashion must haves

The only thing I love more than summer, is shopping for new summer clothes! After taking some time over the past few weeks to purge my closet and weed out the pieces which no longer work, I’m excited to add a few new great items. Here’s what’s on my must have list….starting with this sweet eyelet top from Madewellabove. I also ordered these white button fly jeans  and this tie front tee shirt.

After wearing this cute Vince top on repeat, I decided to splurge on this black sleeveless Vince top above. The wrap feature makes it very flattering and just a little dressier. I know this will be a wardrobe staple for years to come.

In an effort to break up my all black wardrobe, I ordered this white ribbed trim tank top and this cute DVF paisley top.

I can’t take an over air conditioned restaurant or theater. Which is why I always like to have a poncho on hand to throw over literally any outfit. Since I already own a black one and a beige one, I thought a gray one would make a nice addition.

I tend to wear the same style boots all winter long, so I might go a little nuts with sandals in the summer. Just picked up these beautiful neutral leather slides and these stylish python print sandals too!

I’m trying to get more “into” dresses this summer, this easy, breezy white one and this long black maxi dress would also work great as beach cover ups. And, this one from Target is actually my favorite!

This DVF floral dress is perfect for fancier occasions. If flowers aren’t your thing, it also comes in a cute polka dot print!

Picked up this sweet rattan clutch a few months ago. It’s perfect for when you only need a lip gloss, some cash and your phone. Now, I’ve got my eye on this super chic bucket bag. For days and nights when you need to carry a few more things:)

That’s my summer must have list. For even more summer style ideas, see this post on stripes, this post on pretty pale pink style, and, this one on fashion finds under $100.
