The Best of The Fall Design Books

best fall design books

Every fall brings a fabulous new crop of design and coffee table books. I’ve already received some beautiful advance copies of some of them and I can say they do not disappoint. I’ve said it before, but I can never have enough of these inspiring books. Whether using them in my home as decor or turning to them for design ideas or simply as giving them as gifts, I ‘ve always got my eye on a few new favorites. Here are my picks from this season so far…

The Power of Pattern by Susanna Salk

First off, I’m beyond flattered and excited to see our black glossy powder room (below) in Susanna Salk’s newest book, The Power of Pattern. You can find the before and after shots from this space here. As the title suggests, this book is a testament to the power of pattern in interior design. As you might guess from my own powder room, I’m very much into this concept, so I love this book! Full of so many great photos and ideas for incorporating pattern into your home.

Sophisticated Simplicity by Suzanne Kasler

Suzanne Kasler is one of my favorite interior designers. I need this newest book- Sophisticated Simplicity, to complete my Suzanne Kasler collection of design books. See more of Suzanne’s gorgeous work here.

Terrain – Ideas and Inspiration for Decorating The Home and Garden

I’m lucky to live so close to Terrain’s beautiful store and restaurant in Westport, CT. I always get inspired whenever I visit this garden and home shop, so I’m super excited to attend the launch party for this new book later this month.

Dior And His Decorators by Maureen Footer

The Gardens Of Bunny Mellon by Linda Holden

The Curated Home by Grant K. Gibson

May I Come In by Wendy Goodman

A Point Of View by Veere Grenney

Another one of my favorite designers. This book is so chic, just like all of Veere’s brilliant design work. See more of Veere Grenney’s well thought out interiors here.

Dream Design Live by Paloma Contreras

I’ve already dedicated a full post to Paloma’s gorgeous new book here. But I couldn’t resist mentioning it again here today!
