Summer Fashion Uniform

I love the idea of “uniform” dressing – especially when it comes to just day to day casual wear. These white jeans, which I first discovered last summer, are now an anchor piece in my warm weather wardrobe.

The outfit above represents a typical casual summer outfit for me. I love that it’s as comfortable as it versatile. Two key components for me when it comes to uniform dressing.

When I need to be a bit more dressed up, I swap the flip flops out for something with a little heel –  like these and these.

For a bit more polished look – I opt for a top like this one (also loving this one too!) Swap the tote for a cute little summer bag, and I’m good to go!

Do you prefer to wear something entirely different each day or do you tend to stick with a similar silouhette like me?

PS: Another cute summer uniform idea!

  1. My summer uniform for years has been a black tank or sleeveless turtleneck, with either khakis or white jeans. So much so that my niece saw a woman in a store wearing a similar outfit, with a similar brown bob and went nuts, yelling at her mom that Auntie was there.
Classic, timeless, comfortable. And, evidently, unforgettable.

I am the opposite. I hate to wear the same thing twice.
