Today I’m feeling so inspired by the bright and bold color combinations of these endearing Wayuu Taya bags. Founded in 2002, by former Chanel model Patricia Velásquez, Wayuu Taya is a non-profit organization that produces fashionable and unique accessories in support of Latin American communities. Each hand-woven bag is made using traditional tribal techniques and takes 20 days to construct, with the proceeds going towards education for the indigenous Wayúu women and children. Don’t you love it when “feel good” and fabulous combine in fashion?
