Winter Is Here: Five Cold Weather Essentials

most popular winter coat

Amazon Coat

Earlier this week I was talking about warm weather resort wear, but temps have dipped so low here in the North East – dressing warm is all I care about right now!

In case you missed my Instagram story about my new coat, I’m posting it here today-because it’s that good! This popular coat is known around here as “the coat that’s taken over the Upper East Side.” Turns out, half my friends already own this and the other half are very into buying it. Long story short, it’s very warm, it’s flattering and it’s only $119.00 on Amazon! You can see mine here.

QUICK SHOP:

cashmere/boucle turtleneck

This time of year, all I want to wear are soft snuggly sweaters. Here’s a few I’ve been loving.

This one (above) is from Nordstrom’s Signature line and it’s the perfect shade of blue with a warm, nubby texture.

Halogen cashmere turtlenecks are current go to faves – the camel and black versions are on heavy rotation.

I also love the cable knit of this pretty navy cashmere sweater.

And lastly, I just picked up this knit number – the fit and price are both spot on!

Sorel Whitney Short Lace Boot

Nobody likes cold feet, so warm and comfortable winter boots are a must. I already own these Sorel Caribou boots and swear by them. I recently picked up this pair (which ended up going back to college with my daughter) so now I’m eyeing these cute, highly rated snow boots!

leather cashmere lined gloves

I received a pair of these warm leather gloves for Christmas. They’re cashmere lined, fit great and are currently on sale!

PJ Salvage Wild Heart PJ Bottoms

Last but not least, my girlfriend sent me a pair of PJ Salvage pajamas for my birthday earlier this week and now I’m offically hooked. New to this brand, these are SO soft and warm and now they’re all I want to wear. Literally:)
