Blogger Home Tours: Mimosa Lane

Mimosa Lane home tour

One day I hope to see Albertina’s home in person, but until I make it down to Texas for a visit, I’ll settle for glimpses into this chic and creative home.

Blogging over at Mimosa Lane, Albertina’s home, just like her blog is a true refection of her warm and artistic soul.

Above is a shot from Albertina’s most recent One Room Challenge-where she tackled her daughter’s room with great success!

A whiz at beautiful vignettes and amazing DYI’s -like the last image below.

I love this easy painted mirror art from  Mimosa Lane’s Instagram– which is of course a “must follow“!

Thanks again Albertina for sharing your fabulous spaces with us here today! xx

Finishing My Daughter’s Room

Despite the fact that I have some amazing professional photos (top by Nicole Cohen and below by Leslie Unruh for One Kings Lane) of my younger daughter’s room, it’s still far from finished. For the past few weeks I’ve been frantically searching for the right pieces to pull this room together. She’s away in camp for a few more days, and I’m hoping to surprise her with a room that looks a lot more complete (and functional-she needs a dresser badly) than when she left.
I’m close to ordering her a white dresser. I’m considering the one below and also this taller, narrower option from West Elm. I’ve got a good sense of what she likes and dislikes (I’m honoring her request to have only plain white blinds on her windows) and with that in mind I’ve pulled together this little mood board to motivate myself (and in the event it doesn’t get done in time…to show my daughter when she gets home).
