Our Family Circle Magazine Feature on Smart Family Storage Ideas

The focus of this feature is all about our smart family storage ideas.

I’m having a pinch me moment over all these great shots of me and my children, my house, my business and even the inside of my pantry (cringe!)

You might remember back in May, when I blogged about David Prince, the photographer that shot this?

He’s the talented guy who took these photos.

It was SO great to see him and his assistant in action. I feel like I learned so many great tips behind the scenes.

And, not just on photography, but on styling too!

All in it was SUCH a great experience. We’re so grateful to everyone over at Family Circle and Meredith Publishing.

Seriously, the nicest people in publishing!

Well, now it’s finally out and it’s basically as exciting as things get over here…I hope you’ll check it out!

Seven Moments of Summer

hydrangeas, birdhouse, backyard, white fence

Even though it’s been incredibly hot (and humid!) and rainy…summer is still my favorite season by far. Here’s just a few of the many, many reasons why… Fresh flowers ~ both inside and out, quiet mornings, bike rides, back yard garden vegetables, warm weather treats and most importantly more time (and daylight!) to do it all in, including focusing on projects around here big and small…all of it captured on my other favorite, Instagram. What are you favoring these days?

The 11th Hour

Tomorrow, July 1, 2013, Google shuts the lights on Google Reader forever. When I first started this blog in 2009, Google Reader was what I used to keep up with all my favorite blogs. However, a few years ago I switched over to Bloglovin’ and never looked back. I’ve been meaning to do a post about this forever, but true to form, I’m here at the eleventh hour…anyway, if you’re a procrastinator just like me, you have until the end of the day to move your feeds over from Google Reader. USA Today, does a much better job of explaining how than I could ever hope to and also breaks down the benefits of some additional newer alternatives, like Feedly, (which I’m hearing great things about). How do you keep up/subscribe to blogs? I’d love to hear about it in the comments as there are so many different ways to do so, these days!
