Weekend Wrap Up

Hello. This week was just as weird and emotional as the one before it.

On the one hand, we’ve sort of found our footing with the “new normal” over here – but on the other, everything still feels SO I don’t know? Dystopian??

I know sunshine seems to help A LOT. Along with zoom calls with friends.

And, I’ve said it before, but continuing on with The Zhush, has been a lifesaver for me.

Sounds a little dramatic, but some days I feel a little dramatic.

Are you on an emotional rollercoaster too?

Now on to some more frivolous things…

Modern Kitchen Hardware Ideas 2024

I love to look at fancy, modern kitchen hardware ideas and options.

It’s always the small details which can really bring a room together.

The right kitchen hardware is a great way to update your space.

Like jewelry for a room, the perfect pulls, knobs and even hinges can enhance the overall design of your kitchen.

The best part, changing up your hardware in the kitchen is relatively easy enough to do on your own.

Similar to updating your throw pillows, these small, easy zhushes pack a large style punch.

Today I’m sharing some favorites I’ve used through the years…

Like these Canfield pulls in brass as seen above and below in my kitchen, love these SO much!

This post on my home office first ran several years ago.

Since so many people are currently looking for home office ideas I recently went back and significantly updated it.

Home Office Ideas

I hope you love these home office ideas from my own set up.

Due to the current situation, home offices are obviously becoming increasingly popular.

However, even before this past March, it seems more and more people are working from home these days.

No matter the size of the space, your home office should be functional and make you feel inspired.

For me that means a lot of natural light, pretty art, and not too much clutter.

Of course, having the essentials, like a calendar, loads of pens, paper clips and my files all within easy reach is pretty key too.

From time to time I get emails asking where various accessories or pieces in my home office are from.

I’m always pretty flattered and I can also relate, as most of the finds were from various office set ups that I’ve seen online throughout the years!

If I see a certain vignette or desk top that inspires me for whatever reason, I’ll pin it to this board, and then hone in on the details until I can find something similar on my own.

So, if my home office resonates with you, I’ve listed the exact items where they’re still available and I’ve also found some great new accessories which I’ve rounded up below.

As for the walls, it’s a lightened (white paint was added) version of Benjamin Moore’s Lavender Icewhich you can read more about here,  and the shade fabric is from Quadrille.
