Like almost everyone who talks about home decor online, I have a real obsession with throw pillows!

Beautiful throw pillows have always been an essential decor accessory in my home.

Lately I’ve been loving the look of neutral pillows so much – preferably nubby or textured.

Upping the cozy factor around here with a new super soft throw pillow or two just seems like a good these days

Here are the best looking neutral, soft, chic throw pillows- all of which I’m LOVING right now.

In addition to a variety of gorgeous pillows, it’s always nice to have a few soft, warm throw blankets around as well.

The Pillow Insert

Since many of the above are neutral pillow covers, you’ll need to purchase inserts if you don’t already have them.

Also, if you have some good throw pillows you no longer love – simply place them inside a removable cover like these and boom – instant new look!

But, if you’re in the market for some new ones… these are THE best inserts around.

I found these recently and can say I now like them the best, mostly because they look like real down, but without the allergens and actual feathers which tend to “escape” all over the house over time.

Another great thing to keep in mind when purchasing throw pillow inserts, is the sizing.

As a general rule, the insert should be about two inches larger than your pillow cover.

Lastly, when in doubt with which throw pillow size to go for, a 20″ x 20″ size square pillow.

These square pillows are almost always going to look great.

One of the best features on this platform is the wide selection.

From solid colors to bold prints and goemetric patterns in subtle colors and all different sizes – you’ll find it all here.

There’s even a few vendors which use natural materials for their cushion covers.

Of course, Etsy also offers custom pillows – so there’s really something for every one on this site.
