I’ve been following Sarah Swanson’s interior design blog Flourish, Design and Style for a long time.

Over the years, I’ve watched Sarah build her e-design business and her charming Etsy water color art shop…(I even did a post about this back in 2014).

More recently, I was thrilled to see Sarah’s beautiful home featured over at Avenue Calgary Magazine.

There’s a lot to love about Sarah’s stylish  and laid back aesthetic.

The creamy whites and warm rustic details add up to a chic and sophisticated home with a very relaxed vibe-I especially love her serene bedroom set up.

Weekend Wrap Up
It seems it’s always the shorter work weeks that end up feeling like the longest-especially with all three starting school on Wednesday. Grateful that the kids are back on a set schedule, but already mourning lazy days with no team practices, homework battles and early alarm settings…

September always feels like it calls for a fresh start, so I’ve decided to take that attitude and apply it to my own work. On a mission to be more organized on the blog and over at the shop. It’s mostly “behind the scene” things…but a new set of goals helps me to get into the fall spirit.
