I couldn’t stop admiring The Green Vase paper flowers through out our recent stay at the Mayflower Inn.

They added such a beautiful, unexpected touch to the decor.

I love the sculptural look, these handmade arrangements can be a bit pricey.

Which is why I was thrilled to have found a few great Etsy options with a very similar feel for less.

The Green Vase Flowers That Caught My Eye

The potted paper flowers were tucked onto mantels and consoles throughout the Inn.

I especially loved the arrangements against the wallpapers and layered interiors.

They brought just the right amount of color and made each corner feel even more special and cozy.

I’ve admired The Green Vase’s paper flowers for awhile (and even own a few) so seeing them in person at the Mayflower Inn made me appreciate them even more.

They have such a charming almost sculptural quality about them that feels both whimsical and elevated all at once.

An Etsy Paper Flower Look For Less

The Green Vase arrangements are so beautiful, but they can be a bit pricey.

I went looking for a more affordable way to bring a similar look home, and found so many pretty options over on Etsy.

It isn’t an exact copy of The Green Vase flowers, but it really has the same cheerful, charming collected feeling that first caught my eye.

If you love the look of paper flowers but want to spend less, this is such a lovely option to consider.

How To Decorate With Paper Flowers

Paper flowers make a pretty accent on a mantel, console table, bookshelf or bedside table.

I love how these come in a simple ceramic pot, making the artful flowers the focus here.

Choose colors which work with your interiors, the let the arrangement add a little height and interest.

They also give you the look of flowers without having to replace a fresh bouquet every week.

No water needed, and of course they won’t wilt.

A gentle dusting now and then should keep them looking their best.

I’m always happy to find a home accent that feels special without requiring a major investment.

The Green Vase flowers at the Mayflower Inn inspired me and this Etsy find is a pretty way to bring a little of that chic look home for less.

The right bag is the easiest way to pull a cold weather outfit together.

As the layers get heavier and the colors get richer, a beautiful bag becomes the finishing touch that makes everything feel considered.

Super Chic Bags For Fall and Winter

I truly love bags of all  shapes and sizes, they’re such a fun and also functional accessory…so these posts are also a personal favorite for me.

So what are the super chic bags for this fall and winter?

I rounded up fifteen chic bags to carry you through fall and winter, from everyday totes and hands free cross-bodies to a few special evening pieces.

I made sure to include bags at every price point, with a few looks for less for the splurgier styles, so there’s something here no matter your budget.

And each one is timeless enough to carry well beyond this season.

  1. Loewe Puzzle Bag – A true investment piece (wearing this one above) and one of those bags that instantly signals quality. The clever puzzle construction lets it be carried structured or soft, the removable long strap gives it so much versatility and it goes with absolutely everything. (splurge)
  2. Horse Clementine Bag – If you love the look of a designer top handle without the price, this is your bag. The clean shape and rich finish look far more expensive than they are. (looks for less)
  3. Bembien Mini Cherie Bag – A wonderful look for less of a much pricier designer style. The woven leather feels artisanal and elevated, and the mini size is perfect for days when you want just the essentials. (looks for less)
  4. Lifner Pushlock Leopard Printed Clutch– Leopard is the neutral of the season, and this clutch adds just the right amount of pattern. The pushlock closure looks polished and expensive, and it dresses up a simple outfit in seconds.
  5. Khaite Audrey Suede Clutch – Quietly luxurious and so chic. The soft suede and clean lines make this the kind of piece you reach for again and again for dinners and evenings out. (splurge)
  6. Lemiz Mini Asisi Convertible Bag – I love a convertible bag. Wear it as a crossbody for hands free days or tuck the strap for a sleeker look. The mini size feels current without being impractical.
  7. Reformation Solene Wristlet in Green – The prettiest pop of color. A wristlet is such an easy grab and go for dinners or dashing out the door, and this green is a fresh alternative to the usual neutrals.
  8. Madewell The Port Suede Lidded Shoulder Bag – Suede is everywhere this fall, and this one has such a great relaxed shape. The lid closure keeps everything tidy, and it is a lovely everyday option at a friendly price.
  9. Saint Laurent Cassandre Large Pouch in Pony Hair Leather– A total showstopper. The pony hair leopard feels rich and seasonal, and the oversized pouch is both modern and practical. Worth it if you have been wanting one special piece. (splurge)
  10. Leather Top Handle Clutch from Etsy – Proof that Etsy has some real gems. The top handle gives it a ladylike feel, and the leather looks beautifully made for the price. This looks identical to a much pricier designer option.
  11. Genuine Leather Tote Bag on Etsy – If you love the quilted designer tote look, this is a gorgeous look for less. Roomy, well made, and chic enough to carry every single day. (looks for less)
  12. Atorie Lazy Retro Shoulder Bag – That slouchy, retro shoulder shape is so of the moment. It tucks right under your arm and adds an easy, cool-girl finish to jeans and a coat. (looks for less)
  13. Cuyana System Tote– Every fall wardrobe needs one polished tote that holds a laptop and still looks pulled together. This is the one you reach for on your busiest days, and the structured shape keeps it looking sharp no matter how much you pack in.
  14. Italian Leather Quilted Crossbody – The timeless piece that never goes out of style. Wear it on the shoulder or crossbody, dressed up or down, and it instantly elevates jeans and a coat. (looks for less)
  15. Saint Laurent Satin Clutch – Because the season is full of parties and dinners, one special little evening bag earns its keep. A touch of satin or sparkle feels right for the holidays and makes even a simple black dress feel done.
