Best Candles For Gifts in 2023

Beautiful scented candles make GREAT gifts for the holidays.

Today I thought I’d round up my top favorite candles to give as gifts.

From which brand has the longest hours of burn time to the best candle gift set this year…let’s get into it.

The Best Candles For Gifts

I’m all about little luxuries for the home – which is why I think candles make such a great gift.

We have candles all over our home, in almost every room of the house.

For example, below is our coffee table in our living room, featuring a favorite new candle of mine.

If you’re looking for an easy yet thoughtful to gift to give or send to someone you love – check out all the beautiful scented candles below.

As you might’ve guessed, I’ve got a lot of candles.

I don’t just love the way they look, but of course the way a beautiful candle smells.

Personally, I love woodsy and musky scents and tonka bean – but I also love citrus scents including lemon peel and grapefruit ones too.

Of course this time of year I can’t get enough of a traditional Christmas tree fir scent one for the holiday season.

Not to mention all the cozy vibes candles bring to a space when they’re lit.

Supporting Small Businesses

Etsy has so may wonderful small businesses which create luxury candles.

If you’re in the market for a hand-poured candle with essential oils or soy candles in beautiful jars, you might want to check out some of these sellers on Etsy.

Here are a couple of my top picks.

Candles Make The Perfect Gift

Whether you’re looking for a housewarming gift, birthday gift, or a holiday gift for a family member or close friend – you can’t go wrong with a good candle.

Diptyque is a luxury candle brand which makes some of the best scented candles around.

I especially love to see the limited-edition candle they come out with each year for the holidays.

Other candles I’ve obsessed over the years include these Jo Malone candles, this soy wax candle which has an incredible burn time and these delightful coconut wax blend candles.

So there you have it, my top candle picks.

It was hard to narrow it down, because like most candle lovers, I have SO many favorites.

And for good reason.

A luxurious candle can really lift the mood of a room, especially in the dead of a Connecticut winter.

For an extra special gift, you can always add some fancy matches, a gold cotton wick trimmer and/or a glass cloche.

Festive holiday candle sets are also a great idea, (this one’s a popular favorite) plus, they’re always packaged so beautifully.

I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love one of these.

Including me!

Can never have too many…

Thymes Fraser Fir – all time best fragrance! When I had my store, we sold it nonstop from November 1 through January every single year. The best – ESPECIALLY if you don’t get a real tree….
