The whole concept of our big move is slowly sinking in.
Our former home in Westchester County, New York
Posting images of our home here is somehow helping me cope, in a very cathartic way.
Even though we’re only moving about ten miles, it is a new state!
Goodbye New York, hello Connecticut!
I’ve lived in New York for my entire life, and the thought of a new zip code, area code, driver’s license and license plate is so weird.
Never mind the hassle of how to refile my small business?!
Lots to do over these next few months – any and all moving tips and tactics appreciated!
Sue your home is so beautiful….and I can only imagine what you will do with the new home. I am sure its going to be fabulous and I cannot wait to hear all about it!! Best of luck as you gear up for your big move!
Couldn’t agree more with The Relished Roost. I can’t wait to start seeing pictures of the new pad.
This is so exciting! The ease of life that you will gain from being closer to things will help make the transition less trying. Fondly recall having lunch in your dining room and am so happy that I "know" the house your leaving. Hope I'll get an invitation to the new zip code!
Loved seeing you yesterday….of course, not enough time. Hope to see you soon!

Sue, your home is so unbelievably gorgeous! Just incredible, thank you for sharing the photos. I can totally relate to the move and the little (or not so little) details that come with having to switch things over. There is so much to do. Thankful for coffee and wine 😉 lol
Lovely to see you yesterday. Wishing you all the best with your exciting move which will mean less time in the car as Taxi Mom. I love NY, but CT is so close yet feels so different. You may want to connect with Jess Lively who is amazing and so knowledgeable about running a life and business with intention.
