Local friends! Save the date! I’ll be at the Fairfield County Antique and Design Center the evening of May 9th. Along with a few fabulous influencers, designers and favorite vendors – Nicole Steinthal of NS Lifestyle Blog, Jessica Gordon Ryan of Gimlet Marketing, and Interior Designer, Lisa Ehrlich – along with Fete Home and Geoffrey Walsky of Iconic Modern Home.

This has all the makings of a great way to learn more about local designers and creatives in the field. Hope to see you there!

Budget Friendly Blue White Home Decor Finds

 

I LOVE blue and white decor. My own house has several rooms devoted to this forever favorite color combo.

In fact, one of my most popular Pinterest boards is dedicated to just this.

My good friend, who knows I always have my on eye something new, recently requested a blue and white home decor round up post for the blog.

She was looking for a few blue and white pieces. However, she threw in the towel due to a long renovation project which led to decor decision fatigue (it’s a real thing apparently)  – so I was more than happy to oblige!

Our Beach House Renovation: A few more recent updates with before and afters

Beach House Renovation Project Updates:

 

We’re finally making some real progress on our beach house renovation! It’s so exciting to see our vision come together after all this time.

The most noticeable improvement right now is in the main room. As you can see (above)  the book case and brick wall have been painted white. The brick still needs another coat of white paint. It’s Benjamin Moore OC – 151 White. This post has a lot more beautiful white interior paint colors if you’re on the hunt. The fireplace will be painted black inside, but I feel like you can now get the gist of this.
