Happy Friday! This week did not fly by…quite the opposite. Yesterday I thought it was Friday until about noon. What a bummer when I realized it wasn’t…

Happy Friday. It’s been a long week over here. Currently trying to play catch up with my emails and my life…

As to the faux fur coat I mentioned last week, it’s a keeper!

foolproof nursery design Serena Lilly

Have you seen the latest Nursery collection at Serena and Lily?

I can’t get over how beautifully all the pieces work together.

It makes the whole process of designing a chic nursery SO easy.

I also love how the majority of these pieces work so well in a nursery and yet are also so sophisticated!

Not only will these pieces still look appropriate as your baby gets older- but you could really use most of these items in almost any room in your house.

In fact, I’m eyeing this stunning light fixture for my own kitchen!

pom pom lumbar pillow   //  monogram lumbar pillow  //  Capiz Honeycomb pendant light  //  Venice rattan arm chair
Harbour Cane convertible crib   //  denim Moroccan pouf  //  dot baskets  //  Lafayette rug

Literally, any which way you style the Serena and Lily nursery collection it all works together so effortlessly.

It couldn’t be easier to create a comfortable and beautiful room for your baby.

Whether you use the gorgeous rooms Serena and Lily has already styled as your inspiration or you decide to go completely rogue, as I’ve done here with this mood board (above and below.)

art  //  felted wool animal bunny mobile  //  Webster changing table   //  wallpaper

These are just a few of the pieces and rooms I’m loving.

Everything is so cute and sweet without being too juvenile.

It’s just the right balance.

Whether you’re planning a gender based nursery or a gender neutral one, Serena and Lily have plenty of fabulous pieces, fabrics, wallpapers and accessories to choose from.

There’s also paint colors, art, several lighting options and rugs…making Serena and Lily truly a one stop shop for creating a perfect baby nursery in your home.

This Shearling Belgium club chair (above) is by far one of my favorite pieces in the Serena and Lily collection.

Classic lines come together with this fun, fuzzy texture, making this chair so chic and inviting.

Another great option is the Grady Glider (in a gray check, below.) Perfect for bonding with your baby during late night feedings and story time.

If you’re not sure where to begin with your nursery decor, I highly recommend checking out the Serena and Lily site.

They’ve curated an amazing collection of furniture and decor and put it all together in a charming look book in order to give you a sense of some of the design options available.

I know you will love all the beautiful nursery inspiration and ideas.

There’s also a very helpful baby nursery “must have” list, over at Serena and Lily, it’s worth checking out.

PS: Don’t miss this darling safari themed nursery!
