Etsy Favorites: Current Round Up

Long overdue for a round up of Etsy favorites… in fact I can’t believe I haven’t posted one since June! Especially considering how often I shop there. Just yesterday, I ordered these cute pagoda note pads for my office and the for the kitchen. I’m also loving these monogram return address labels.

I’m eyeing the removable self adhesive wallpaper above for a fun hall closet project. In addition, I have spring table tops and entertaining on my mind-with these lovely monogram dinner and cocktail napkins calling my name.

Finally, I’m sure I’ve talked about Arianna Belle’s magnificent throw pillows before (especially since I own a few) but I can’t help bringing up this Etsy shop again. In general I love to shop for designer throw pillows on Etsy and Arianna’s are the best of the best. This velvet leopard lumbar pillow is to die for!

Renovation Ideas For An Old Home

I’m not sure when I first discovered Erin Kestenbaum’s blog, but it was probably her fabulous Instagram account that first led me there.

Once I realized Erin and her husband were restoring a charming 1940’s colonial in nearby Rowayton, Connecticut (my favorite coastal town in the whole state!) I was hooked.

Since Erin’s home is older than 50 years, it’s actually considered a historic house (not just “old.”)

Something I just learned recently.

In order for a house to be classified as an antique, it must be at least 100 years old.

Erin’s home is getting close to antique status!

Let’ get into some of these renovation ideas for an old home –

So thrilled Erin agreed to share some of her home decor projects here today.

Be sure to stop by her blog to see more home remodeling ideas.

Julie Blanner’s home tour

So happy to be continuing this fun home tour series into 2017!

This month’s feature is the warm and charming family abode of blogger, Julie Blanner.

Like so many of the other blogs that have participated here (Laura Trevey, Meredith Rodday, just to name a couple) I met Julie at a blogger event hosted by Better Homes and Gardens.

We’ve kept in touch via our blogs and social media and I’m always inspired by Julie’s clean and cozy interiors.

I’m especially fond of Julie’s stunning covered porch (above) and her beautiful mudroom.

Not to mention all the charming details – brick floors, ship lap walls and built in book cases.

Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us here today Julie!

PS: Another charming home tour I know you will LOVE!
