Vermont Kitchen Reveal

{ta-da}
Back in March I did a post about the outdated and poorly lit kitchen in our Vermont ski condo. I also included inspirational images for the re-design of the new kitchen. Over the summer we completed this project, and last week I snapped a few (grainy) shots to share here. Adding extra lighting, pale gray painted wood cabinets, light gray granite counter tops and shiny stainless appliances had a tremendous effect on this space. The dark wood floors were a nice upgrade from the previous uneven thick muddy tiles (which, inexplicably also served as the previous back splash). Next summer: the bathrooms!
Here is a shot of the old kitchen, from when we purchased the unit in 2008.

Here at Maison de Zhush, we celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas. As tonight marks the first night of Hanukkah, I thought I would share some of my favorite Menorahs here today. None of which I own, by the way…{hint, hint}.
