The Best Books For Your Coffee Table

Every so often I like to do a post rounding up some of my favorite coffee table books, the ones that look super chic on display.

I love these round ups so much because coffee table books are one of the easiest ways to instantly zhush up a room!

Whether your personal style is minimalist or traditional, colorful or monochromatic, a fun arrangement of beautiful books will always complement your home decor.
In fact, there’s really no better way to bring a space to life while also conveying your personal style and interests.
These books also make for a fun conversation starter when entertaining friends and family.
I’m pretty partial to my own current stack of books, as seen in the photo above.
But, I’ve always got my eye on a few more beauties to add to my growing collection. Here are the top books I’m currently loving right now!

Personally, I love to collect books on art, artists, fashion, art history, interior design, and photography.

Fornasetti coffee table bookFornasetti: Designer of Dreams a great book with amazing visual culture in a historical context.

Of course coffee table books also make for such thoughtful gifts for almost anyone.

I love to find a book on a topic that interests someone.

This way they can curl up in a quiet place with a cup of coffee and do a deep dive on a favorite topic.

Like for my friends who love to travel (but obviously can’t right now) this beautiful book below would be the perfect gift!

From hostess gifts to housewarming gifts and of course holiday gifts, I love to find the perfect book for the special people in my life.

Another title high on my list of the best coffee table books is Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz.

Another fun little detail for interior design aficionados like me -some books come with both a pretty dust jacket AND also a hidden hardback cover.

Making these such a great decorative piece for your home and a chic addition to any room.

A good example of this is Tom Scheerer Decorates.

As you can see (below) under the paper dust jacket is a beautiful “cane” cover!

And, you know how much I adore caning!

Other books which have beautiful hidden covers are Iris Apfel’s Rare Bird of Fashion (tiger print-and so fun for fashion lovers) Jan Shower’s Glamorous Rooms (leopard print) and Markham Roberts’ Decorating The Way I See It (python print) just to name a few!
