So, what are the best coffee table books?

While this is pretty subjective, these are the ones I absolutely LOVE right now!

The Best Books For Your Coffee Table

Yesterday’s book review of Marie Flannigan’s gorgeous new book, got me thinking all about design books in general…

Every so often I like to do a post rounding up some of my favorite coffee table books, the ones that look super chic on display.

I love these round ups so much because coffee table books are one of the easiest ways to instantly zhush up a room!

Whether your personal style is minimalist or traditional, colorful or monochromatic, a fun arrangement of beautiful books will always complement your home decor. In fact, there’s really no better way to bring a space to life while also conveying your personal style and interests.

I’m pretty partial to my own current display of books, as seen in the photo above.

But, I’ve always got my eye on a few more beauties to add to my growing collection.

Here are the top books I’m currently loving right now!

Ellsworth Kelly

Personally, I love to collect books on art, artists, fashion, interior design, and photography.

Fornasetti: Designer of Dreams

Of course coffee table books also make great gifts for anyone.

I love to find a book on a topic that interests someone — like for my friends who love to travel (but obviously can’t right now) this beautiful book below would be perfect!

From hostess gifts to housewarming gifts and of course holiday gifts, I love to find the perfect book for the special people in my life.

Another fun little detail for a design book lover like me -some books come with both a pretty dust jacket AND also a hidden hardback cover.

A great example of this is Tom Scheerer Decorates.

As you can see (below) under the paper dust jacket is a beautiful “cane” cover…and you know how much I love caning!

Other books which have beautiful hidden covers are Iris Apfel’s Rare Bird of Fashion (tiger print) Jan Shower’s Glamorous Rooms (leopard print) and Markham Roberts’ Decorating The Way I See It (python print) just to name a few!
