Based on the popularity of my past few paint posts, I’m back today with this one.

Today I’m focusing on a more recent favorite white paint of mine to use, Benjamin Moore White OC-151.

Just like White Dove, we use this beautiful white paint color SO much and in SO many places.

Above you can see how this looks on our kitchen cabinets.

When we first started to renovate our current kitchen, I thought for sure we were going to go with White Dove, just like we had (and loved) in our former New York home.

However, once we got the paint sample up on the actual cabinets and compared it OC-151 white, it was pretty eye opening.

Weekend Wrap Up

Well, we all made it through the week.

This was one of the most stressful weeks I’ve experienced in quite a while.

How are you guys coping?

I hope you’re all hanging in there, keeping busy, and not stressing too hard.

Whatever that means?

I mentioned this on my Instagram stories, but it’s worth saying again…I hope you’ll come to see to my blog as a happy distraction during these turbulent times. 

While I never want to come across as “tone deaf” – I certainly don’t see my role here as anything other than light entertainment.

I first got the recipe for this old fashioned chocolate chip banana bread from another mom in my oldest child’s nursery school class.

She would make this for playdates.

It was SO good, I had to have the recipe.

All these years later, this great recipe is still my favorite.

I’ve seen other recipes which call for brown sugar and/or baking powder in the dry ingredients…

Those are good – but honestly, this one is GREAT!
