Favorite Summer Dresses: 7 Great Finds!

Based on the popularity of last year’s post on summer dresses (which really surprised me!) I’ve decided to do a new round up of some of the beautiful, summery dresses I’ve been finding… and in most cases, buying!

I’ve drilled down even more on the exact type of dresses I tend to prefer. My top style requirements are still mid or midi length, not too frilly and very bra friendly. One more type of dress I’ve just recently added to this list is the faux wrap style.

Unlike actual wrap dresses, the faux wrap dress stays shut. When I wear a wrap dress, I always feel like I need to readjust the entire thing, over and over – for fear of exposing too much leg or cleavage. Is this just me?

Since I tend to do most of my clothes shopping online (just to save time) it helps so much to have an idea of what works best ahead of time. I find these styles and silhouettes to be the most flattering and equally important to me, the most comfortable.

Anyway, hope you enjoy my  summer dress favorites!

Before and After Bathroom Renovation

Fortunately they’ve been retrieved!

The design team at Muse Interiors helped us to transform this dark brown bathroom to the fresh and fun blue and white bathroom it is today.

Beach House Renovation: More before and after progress-

Back today with some long over due before and afters of our beach house renovation progress!

I think we can all agree that most major house renovations always take longer than we first think they will! In our case this is taking waaay longer.

But, we’re finally getting so close to the finish line on this beach house renovation project!

Fingers crossed, we might even make our tentative move in date for the second week in June!

In the meantime, I wanted to share some of the major changes that have taken place since my last update here.

For starters, the bookcase and fireplace on the first floor are both now finished.

The second coat of paint went up (it’s Benjamin Moore White OC – 151) and I LOVE how it looks.

If you’re at all curious, I also LOVE these white paint colors as well!
