Kristy has just released her third book, Slightly South of Simple.

Updating My Daughter’s Room

Back in 2014, I updated my middle daughter’s room from a little girl’s room to a more grown up tween girl’s room. Shortly after making those changes we ended up moving to our house here in Connecticut. In her new room, as per her directions, we went with Benjamin Moore’s Decorator White on her walls and kept the windows very minimal with only white horizontal blinds. We added this fun mod bubble chair last year. I love how the room looks, but my daughter, who will be turning 15 this month (can’t handle it) has asked to make a few updates.
