Weekend Wrap Up

Well, we made it to Friday!

This is always the hardest week of the year, right?

But this week, unfortunately was one for the history books in the worst way possible.

I’m so worried about our country in general, not to mention the whole state of the pandemic on top of this mess.

I have nothing new to add – but I did want to acknowledge current events, in some small way.

Keeping things light over here is a decision, and I know so many of you appreciate the distraction- so that’s what I’m going to stick to, as best I can.

Personally, we had our own eventful week, as my middle daughter was finally allowed to move into her Freshman dorm!

Hoping they all get to stay there – although they’re still on remote learning, it’s a small semblance of normalcy which we’ve all wanted for her.

Other than that, despite the new calendar year, things are pretty much the same around here.

Here’s a few fun links and such to take you into the weekend…

It definitely has been SOME week! Thank you for acknowledging. I find it disconcerting to see sites or talk to people and the events of this week are not even mentioned. Also, so happy that your daughter is getting to move into her freshman dorm. I have high school and college age children too. Grateful that we’ve all stayed healthy, but this has been hard on them.
