August Bestsellers: Top Ten Finds

Happy September!

Each month I love to see what resonated the most here and then round them up in a top ten format.

August Bestsellers

August’s bestsellers were all about those easy pieces which help bridge the gap between summer and fall.

Think lightweight layers, great fitting pants, versatile flats and a few polished accessories to round it all out.

Scroll below to see what made the cut:

  1. Tuckernuck Phoebe Cardigan It’s no surprise this cardigan was the single most popular find of the month. The gorgeous marigold color is so perfect for late summer/early fall and the knot buttons give this such a special feel. It’s lightweight enough to wear now and will be perfect layered under a jacket once the weather cools down a bit.
  2. Gap SoftMade Modal Pajama Pants These are beyond comfortable! The wide leg cut and constrast piping give them an elevated feel which has them punching way above their weight.
  3. Tony Bianco Robyn Flats These sleek flats are a beautiful alternative to basic black and look almost identical to their luxury counterpart. The rich wine shade looks so fresh for fall. An easy way to add a subtle pop of color to your Autumn outfits.
  4. Boden Ara Silk Blend Lace Cami This camisole is the one I’ve been searching for all summer. The lace trim makes it feel special while the wide straps make it completely bra friendly. Perfect under a blazer or cardigan this fall and all on it’s own until then.
  5. Maeve Colette High Rise Wide Leg Pants These pants have developed quite the following and for good reason. The high rise and cropped wide leg are incredibly flattering and the Magic Fabric has just the right amount of stretch. They look super polished but are incredibly comfortable (like wear them on a plane comfortable) which is exactly what I want from a pair of pants.
  6. Banana Republic Ribbed Scoop Neck Tank A great fitted tank is one of those deceptively simple wardrobe staples that gets worn constantly. The scoop neckline on this one is especially flattering and the ribbed fabric makes it feel a bit more substantial and polished. Wear it alone now and under blazers and cardigans later.
  7. Madewell Oval Plaque Buckle Belt This belt is fast becoming one of my favorites. Such and easy finishing touch. The oval buckle adds just enough interest without feeling overly trendy. And, I love how it instantly pulls together a simple look like jeans and a t shirt. A great reminder that a small accessory can often make a big difference.
  8. Etsy Genuine Leather Slouchy Tote This bag looks sooo much more expensive than it is. I love the relaxed shape and minimalist design. It’s roomy enough to work as an everyday bag. The kind of understated find that goes with absolutely everything.
  9. Banana Republic Mid Rise 90s Loose Crop Jeans I love the relaxed ’90s shape of these super flattering and comfortable jeans. The loose fit feels modern and easy, especially with flats or loafers. The light wash also makes for a great transitional pair to wear while the weather is still warm.
  10. Hoka Clifton 11 These sneakers area a great combo of sleek and comfort. They’re designed for training but polished enough for everyday walks, errands and travel. I love the support these give when I’m trying to get my 10K steps in!

Every time I share my favorite Etsy home decor finds on Instagram, the response is the same, you want the links, all in one place, without scrolling back through to find them.

monogram bedding.

So I finally put them here.

Etsy is where I go when I want something for my home that doesn’t look like everyone else’s.

It takes a little digging, the site is enormous, but the payoff is pieces with real character, sometimes vintage or handmade, usually from small makers who care about what they do.

Here are fifteen + of the shops I come back to again and again, grouped by what they do best, so you can go straight to what you’re looking for.

Textiles and Linens

Nothing softens a room faster than gorgeous textiles.

These are the shops I trust for the pieces you actually touch every day, the throws, the linens, the pillow covers that pull a room together.

Etta Millay is the shop I recommend first when someone wants to upgrade their space without redecorating the entire room. It’s worth a slow scroll through the whole shop!

Glorious Fabrics If you want fabrics that no one else has or you simply can’t find anymore, I always check this shop when I’m on the hunt.

Handblock Stories For anyone looking to upgrade their table cloths and napkins

Cotton Print Club  Another favorite for the prettiest table cloths!

Accent Marks has the most beautiful embroidered throw pillows.

If you’re looking for monogram linens, be sure to check out both:

Ceramics and Vases

Long time readers already know I have a real thing for classic blue and white pieces. I think ceramics are where Etsy really shines, the vintage pieces bring a warmth you just can’t get from big-box stores.

P and M Vintage The one I can’t stop buying from. I can always find a special little ginger jar or plate here. The kind of thing you buy for yourself and end up gifting to everyone you know.

MZ Home Decor Crafts The planters and urns are just as special as the ones I saw in Europe last fall.

With a Twist Vintage has an amazing assortment of vintage plates. Look here if you’re thinking of doing a plate wall.

Wall Art and Prints

Nothing changes a room like what you put on the walls, and Etsy is full of artists selling work you will not see anywhere else. These are the shops I go to when a wall needs something special.

Bakers Brush Where I found these mini house portraits that everyone asks me about. A good place to find something personal without spending a fortune.

Dustin Way has the most beautiful botanical prints. The type of finishing touches which make a space feel layered and personal.

Blue Limpet Shell Art Here you’ll find the most stunning wall mirrors, if you love shell art- this shop is for you!

Lighting, Accents and Architectural Hardware

The finishing touches, the lamps, the candle holders, the small objects that make a room feel done. These are the shops for the details.

Lux Holdups Think lucite curtain rods and banisters. This is truly one of the most underrated upgrades you can make in a home.

Blacksmith Shop  If you’re looking for beautiful hardware like doorknobs, hinges, hooks and railings. This upgrade instantly elevates everything.

I went a little over fifteen here, I couldn’t help myself.

Final Thoughts

A few of these shops are small, one-person operations, so listings can change or sell out. If something is gone by the time you get there, it is worth messaging the shop, many make to order.
