Updating My Daughter’s Room To A Big Girl Room

Teen Daughter Bedroom Reveal:

My middle child / youngest daughter’s room is finally done! (Just in time for us to move!)

Here’s a glimpse of the way it looked “before”… evidence that a few small changes can have a big impact on a room.

I love the way it came out and wanted to be sure to share it here before it’s too late!

I had the help of Muse Interiors for some of the trickier items like her custom head board and the fabulous window treatment from Martyn Lawrence Bullard’s amazing fabric line (that I can’t bear to leave behind).

I’ve listed the majority of the sources for almost everything else below….

tulip chair at desk with extra large bulletin board

pottery barn side table in girls room

monogram pillow case on girl's bed

wall paint is Benjamin Moore Lavender Ice

side tables: Pottery Barn Kids
white lamps:Amazon
pink alarm clock: Amazon
white duvet cover: Overstock.com
large bulletin board: Ballard Design
desk: West Elm
green pom pom organic throw: PBteen

  1. Her room is so beautiful, Sue! I am sure it will be hard to leave behind, but no doubt her room in the new house will be just as gorgeous. Have a fantastic weekend! xoxo

  2. Incredible decor, Sue!!! I know your daughter is overjoyed with how it came together. And, as one who has moved a lot, just take those window treatments with you. Even if they need to be reworked. I'm in love with Martyn's fabric line, as it's what I used in my laundry/mudroom.
