Boucle Fabric For Your Home: What to Know and Should You Buy It?

Today I thought I’d share a collection of beautiful boucle fabric and sherpa home decor pieces.

Cotton boucle comes in a range of colors and is the perfect way to add a cozy feel and a layer of visual interest to your space.

Whether you’re looking to refresh your living room, bedroom, home office or any room really…bouclé fabric is one of the freshest trends I’ve seen in the interior design world in a while.

Of course, like all the best home decor trends, boucle has been around forever.

Boucle Fabric and Sherpa Home Decor

All chic things ’60s are hot again- for example, eero saarinen and eames inspired furniture.

This includes the retro appeal of this textured fabric.

Not only do I love the cozy texture but boucle yarn (sometimes referred to as teddy bear fabrics) has such an inviting look and luxurious feel to it.

The name boucle comes from the French word boucler which roughly translated means a curly loopy yarn.

Cozy fabrics like sherpa and boucle can have such a calm effect on a room, especially when they’re featured in neutral color palettes like the ones here today.

These boucle yarns come in a variety of light neutrals.

There are also synthetic variations which are made from recycled materials for a more sustainable product.

From modern  bouclé sofas to bouclé chairs and area rugs… let’s take a look at some interior designer favorites.

Boucle Modern Furniture – One of the best home décor trends

Sherpa chairs can be found at various price points including this faux shearling one from Target for under $350.

Lulu and Georgia is the perfect place to find a chic piece of furniture.

They offer boucle fabric and sherpa home decor in a plethora of options.

I’m crazy about these dining chairs.

Another great way to add a touch of boucle to your home is with these area rugs.

This heavy fabric makes for the chicest carpets and rugs.

There are so many different iterations of boucle and sherpa pieces on the market today, there’s no doubt you’ll find several which align with your own interior design taste.
