Beach House Decor Ideas

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any updated on our beach house.

So, today I thought I’d show you what’s going on.

I took these photos on my phone, so apologies about the “not-so-great” quality here.

As you can see, our kitchen is almost finished!

We just had the bamboo blinds installed and they added some much needed warmth to this space.

I love how our primary bedroom is coming along.

The colors are so soothing.

It’s coastal decor, without screaming “coastal decor” – which is pretty much what I’m going for here.

The guest bedrooms still need some further zhushing, but I like the idea of adding to these spaces slowly over time.

We started off with an all over white color scheme through out the house.

Now I’m slowing bringing in more vibrant colors with accessories and art.

We painted almost the entire house in Benjamin Moore OC -151.

I’m coming around to thinking this is really the best white paint color.

It’s so versatile and easy to work with.

I’ve even got a whole post dedicated to Benjamin Moore OC -151.

Finally, this guest bath is also finished.

I’ve got a few other photos to share, but this post is turning into a novel, so I’ll hold off on those!

Enjoyable watching your haven unfold. The glimpse of the water and beach and the interior washed with white is serene. Though the serenity of your home is certainly a stand alone, I think the vibrant art and accessories you speak of will be joyful. As an appreciative art collector I would like to introduce you to an artist who combines color, texture and excitement in her work. I have added Kelly’s website/studio representation below. Maybe something will catch your eye, maybe not – at any rate, you as an artist will be connected to another. Full disclosure, she is my daughter.
(P.S. I have never promoted her work before, but there were several bright pieces I could see in your home) thank you
