Modern Kitchen Cabinet Hardware Ideas 2021
The right kitchen hardware is a great way to update your space.
Like jewelry for a room, the perfect pulls, knobs and even hinges can enhance the overall design of your kitchen.
The best part, changing up your hardware in the kitchen is relatively easy enough to do on your own.
Similar to updating your throw pillows, these small, easy zhushes pack a large style punch.
Today I’m sharing some favorites I’ve used through the years…
Like these Canfield pulls in brass as seen above and below in my kitchen, love these SO much!
Brass hexagon cabinet knobs on our lower and upper cabinets from a prior kitchen renovation.
In fact, I love the Canfield brass pulls so much I went with them again in our recent Rhode Island beach house project, seen above.
You can see more of this house, including the kitchen island (which we sold last year) over here.
However, instead of going with all straight pull handles, like our current home – I opted for these hexagon cabinet knobs and cabinet pulls – just to mix it up a little.
And if you’re in the market for kitchen faucets, this is the one we used above.
Emtek modern disc door knob set
To continue with the unlaquered brass look in this kitchen, we went with these new satin brass and glass door knobs on the kitchen pantry doors.
This looked so nice so we chose to go with these fun door knobs throughout the whole first floor.
They added a nice modern twist to the traditional look of this home.
Even thought the hinges on most of the doors is stainless steel, these still look great – just in case you were wondering…

However, if brass is not your thing…
You can never go wrong with classic polished nickel hardware.
Timeless and beautiful, we chose these pretty hexagonal bin drawer pulls in our butler’s pantry.
Some people refer to these as cup pulls.
Yes, those are also the Canfield pulls, again as well.
Just like with paint colors, and white kitchens, when I like something, I tend to go with it again and again!

Last, but not least-
In addition to unlaquered brass, oil rubbed bronze and polished nickel, I also love the modern look of lucite hardware.
I don’t have this in my kitchen but I do have this hardware in my closet and master bedroom.
Stainless steel isn’t a bad option and it’s very durable.
As for brushed nickel or satin nickle, I learned the hard way this is my least favorite finish.
