Let’s get into it, everyone loves to talk about getting the designer look for less!
Today, I’ve got a follow up to this popular post about a few of my favorite home decor sites.

The Designer Look For Less Money: Great Home Decor Sources
Where can I get the interior design, designer look for less money?
This is a question I get asked a lot!
What are some great online home decor sources?
Which ones are my favorite?
Long time readers know I’m more than happy to answer all of these questions here today.
While I like to find cool, vintage pieces for my own home at flea markets and estate sales, this answer doesn’t really address the online portion of these questions…
So the closest thing I could think of is when I shop online is eBay
eBay is a favorite source of mine for getting vintage items.
This site is a favorite of mine for smaller home decor items in all different styles.
The good news is these don’t have to be pricey pieces.
I’m all about getting the high-end look for less whenever I can.
For example, I love to collect blue and white jars and vases.
Some are brand new, but I also like to mix it up with older more unique finds.
Mixing the old with the new keeps the color palettes in this collection looking more interesting and less sterile.
Additionally, a quick search of gold Louis Philippe mirrors over on eBay just led me to a similar look to this gold mirror in the first photo above – only a lot less than the original price tag!
If you keep an open mind, you can find some great gems on eBay which will rival even the best antique shops.
I also love to shop on Etsy for similar items.
Whether your just looking to add a few new accent pieces to zhush up the look of your home or you’re looking to furnish a whole new home – Etsy is fast becoming one of my favorite place to shop online.
In fact one of my best tips is to always source designer throw pillows on Etsy.
Just a little detail like a new pillow in a bold color can make a while room look different, in the very best way.
Pro Tip: Cross referencing both Etsy and eBay whenever you can is a great way to ensure you’re getting a good price!
You can find my most recent Etsy favorites here.

Next great designer look for less source is Overstock.com.
I first discovered how vast the home decor selection is over there a few years ago when I was searching for Moroccan pouf ottomans for my daughter’s bedroom.
I was thrilled with the discounted prices they offered and equally as happy with the quality and customer service.
Since then I’ve used this site for so many different items, from bedding to baskets and even the white pedestal tulip table and the mirrored side table in my home office, above.
Target is the next site I often turn to for great home decor finds.
The selection on this site seems endless, but if you know what you’re looking for you can get some great deals on some truly great looking pieces.
Case in point, the whole recent addition of Studio McGee to the home section of Target is nothing short of amazing!
The last site I want to mention today is Wayfair.
This home site probably more of an obvious choice than some of the other sites I’ve highlighted here today, but it’s still worth a mention.
There are so many different great finds, the inventory is SO vast here there’s something for everyone’s personal style.
Over the summer we had ordered some out door patio umbrellas from Wayfair.
We had an issue with one of them.
The customer service was so fast and so great it left a really positive impression with me.
Plus, the prices are very budget friendly.
Since then, I look to Wayfair for all types of home items from picture frames to even a new coffee table.
I’ve also found the tiles for our beach house backsplash and even beautiful bamboo shades in chic neutral tones (similar to the ones above).
I hope you find these home decor site recommendations helpful!
Let me know in the comments if you have some I need to add to my list.

Hi love the designer look for less blog!! I have been looking for a tulip table and this one fits the bill but unfortunately it is out of stock at overstock. Do you have any other resource for such a table and how big is yours as the ones I have seen are side tables. Appreciate any info you could provide…thanks
Yes, thanks! Try looking on Amazon and Wayfair! Mine is pretty big, like a small dining table.
