Hopefully you’ll find the best color for your own home.

Above is our current living room painted in Benjamin Moore Cape Hatteras Sand.

We went with the exact same color we had in our former living room, for a number of reasons – but mostly because it’s such an easy, neutral color to live with.

Below I’ve highlighted several more great looking paint colors for you to consider for your own home.

It’s worth mentioning all of these paint colors would look so great in dining rooms as well!

White Living Room Paint Colors

I happen to think an all white living room is an excellent choice.

If this is where you’re leaning, I’ve got a few great white paint colors or you to consider…

The Importance Of Wall Paint Samples

Ultimately you need to love the paint colors you choose for your walls.

Which is why I can’t recommend trying it out as a sample in your home first.

Samplize non-damaging adhesive backing allows for viewing in multiple locations and in different lighting without marking up your walls!

Produced with genuine manufacturer paint.

I tend to use a lot of popular Benjamin Moore paint, but I have nothing against Farrow and Ball or Sherwin Williams, or any other well known paint brand.

Samplize carries them all!

Test Out Different Light Sources

Because even the surrounding light from one room to another can change, and this will absolutely alter the look of even the best paint color.

Live with a few samples for a few days before making your final decision.

Always be sure to test the color in natural and artificial light too!

Samplize self sticking paint samples is my favorite way to test out a paint these days.

Doesn’t this sounds so clever?

No messy paint cans to deal with before you commit! Win/win!

If you’re at all curious, you can find them here and try it out as a sample in your home first!

Does BM white dove go with BM stone Hearth? My walls are BM stone Hearth and I’d like to paint my fireplace. Which BM white is best with BM stone Hearth and what finish should I use on the fireplace. The room gets a fair amount of natural light. It is south facing. My floors are a darker grey.

Yes it absolutely does and it sounds lovely! You should use the same finish on your fireplace surround as the rest of your trim. Probably a semi gloss as this is the best paint finish for trim. Good luck, sounds beautiful.
